Lumineers Lumineers are a dramatic change from conventional dentistry because this technique is based on the premise that excellent results can be achieved in changing a persons smile without the need for shots, pain or "drilling into sensitive tooth structure". Poorly spaced teeth, broken or chipped teeth, as well as discolored teeth all can be treated with Lumineers to achieve outstanding results. The Lumineers are thin layers of the new Cerinate Porcelain that are bonded to a tooth, and in some cases over existing crowns or bridges to improve the appearance or change the color of a persons smile. Special bonding agents and a material called UltraBond are utilized in a special technique that has been tested and developed from the past 20 years of research.
