Dental Procedures
Dr. Stanley and his staff provide patients with dental treatment that covers almost all areas of Cosmetic, Restorative and Implant Dentistry. A listing is provided of the most common dental procedures we perform, along with a detailed description of each one, and this can be found under Services. Every procedure is assigned a specific ADA procedure code along with a very brief description of the approved procedure. The ADA codes are followed precisely when recommending treatment, determining fees and filing insurance claims.
Fees
Each procedure provided in this office has a predetermined fee that is exactly the same for patients with dental insurance as well as patients without dental coverage. This standard fee will be provided to you for any procedure we plan to perform and is listed on our computer by ADA code # and procedure name.
Dental Insurance
We have found that Dental Insurance Plans and coverage can vary a great deal from company to company and policy to policy. Our office will always complete your claim forms and submit them to your insurance company using ADA approved forms and codes. We will also provide diagnostic X-rays and intra-oral photographs, provided they are part of our records. Most Insurance Companies we deal with are very forthright and will settle your claim in a timely manner. However some seem to place their profitability before quality patient care.
This office will always base treatment recommendations on the "accepted standard of care" and not recommend "treatment based only on what your policy covers". You have the right to know about the best treatment for a specific dental problem and what options you have. Then you decide what treatment is best for you. We will always support your decision and try to help you receive the maximium allowable benefits under your policy.
